Duties Include:

• Coordinate & plan Nursing Department staff schedules, considering staff and facility needs.
• Coordinating all staffing requirements in the Facility
• Patiently deal with last-minute changes in scheduling
• Deal with staff call-outs appropriately by following proper protocol.
• Assist with recruitment needs by advising the Director of Nursing of open positions.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Other reasonable duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements Include:

• Should have excellent computer skills (MS Word, excel, outlook, etc.)
• Computerized scheduling software such as Time & Attendance
• Background & experience in staffing preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology a plus
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills are required.
• Candidates should be Highly Organized, Professional & Motivated.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask & prioritize.
• Able to work well independently & as part of a team.
• Must meet the requirements of the Department of Health.
• Long Term care experience, preferred
