RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Serve and support group legal issues in North America, including but not limited to:
a. The first contact for local subsidiaries in Legal Department.
b. Draft and review contract, e.g. commercial, employment etc.
c. Consult to legal inquiries related to business and operation from subsidiaries.
d.Assist in handling arbitration and dispute.
e. Business related legal research and legal inventory management.
f. Strong ability to translate the legal concepts and regulatory instructions into plain language and improve the deliver to local subsidiaries.
2. Consult, advise and train business related compliance issues for local subsidiaries.
3. Manage corporate governance information of local subsidiaries. Keep the registration information up to date.
REQUIREMENTS
1. Legal education background in US.
2. Obtained the legal professional qualification in US.
3. Proficiency in both English and Chinese.
4. At least 5 years of working experience in law firm (corporate legal adviser preferred) or in-house counsel in the company.
5. Ability to work under pressure and shifting priorities. Handle multiple tasks simultaneously and independently.
6. Service-oriented, with ability to work an act as a true legal business partner with business department.
7.Commercial awareness and good negotiating skills.
