Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Seasonal Groundskeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and care of the grounds, ensuring a visually appealing and safe environment. Compensation is based on experience. (This position is weather dependent.)

Responsibilities:

- Utilize hand tools and power tools to maintain the landscape
- Ensure proper watering of plants and grass
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address issues with plants, trees, and lawn
- Mow, trim, and edge lawns using appropriate equipment

- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on small and midsize equipment

- Operate all vehicles and equipment as assigned

- Perform general maintenance of buildings, cemetery grounds,

- Assist with burials, including marking, digging and filling graves
- Keep walkways clean and free of debris
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a hazard-free environment

Skills

- Knowledge of lawn care techniques and procedures
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools effectively
- Experience with garden maintenance tasks
- Strong attention to detail in maintaining outdoor spaces
