DescriptionWe are offering an opportunity for a detail-oriented Controller to join our team located in Moraine, Ohio. This role is critical in our finance department and will be responsible for managing financial discrepancies, overseeing audit processes, and handling Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. Responsibilities
- Oversee the financial growth of the company, with the potential to reach significant milestones in the coming years.
- Manage and rectify audit discrepancies found with vendors.
- Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable cleanup.
- Utilize QuickBooks for various financial operations.
- Monitor and manage financial processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Develop and implement a financial planning and analysis structure, as required.
- Lead a team of financial clerks, promoting a collaborative and productive environment.
- Ensure all accounting functions are performed accurately and within the set timelines.
- Manage month-end close processes, ensuring all financial reporting is completed in a timely manner.
- Conduct budgeting and forecasting activities to aid in financial planning and decision-making processes.
- Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems and Enterprise Resource Planning.
- Strong understanding of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Experience with Auditing and Budget Processes.
- Strong knowledge of ERP Solutions.
- Proficiency in Month End Close processes.
- Experience with Budgeting - Forecasting.
- Extensive experience in a Controller role or similar position in the financial industry
- Proficiency in accounting software systems
- Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP solutions
- Ability to manage all accounting functions
- Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Knowledge of auditing procedures and regulations
- Expertise in budget processes and month-end close procedures
- Proficiency in budgeting and forecasting
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively
- Willingness to adhere to all professional ethics standards.
