Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Event Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and organizing events from conception through to completion. The Event Manager will ensure that all events run smoothly, efficiently, and meet both client and company expectations.

Responsibilities:

- Plan, organize, and execute various events such as fundraisers, banquets, and market events
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to secure the best prices and terms
- Coordinate all event logistics including venue selection, catering, entertainment, transportation, and accommodations
- Manage event budgets and ensure financial targets are met
- Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown
- Provide excellent guest services and address any issues or concerns that may arise during events
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless event execution
- Upsell services and products to enhance the event experience

Skills:

- Proven experience in event planning and management within the hospitality industry
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Ability to market events effectively to drive attendance
- Proficiency in banquet or restaurant event management
- Demonstrated ability in fundraising for events

Pay: $42,281.80 - $50,920.02 per year
