The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy is Hiring a Daycare Teacher (Part Time) Near Mount Pleasant, SC
As a Part-Time Daycare Teacher, you will play a vital role in nurturing and educating young children. You will create a safe and stimulating environment, implement developmentally appropriate activities, and support the emotional and social development of each child. Your passion for early education and dedication to ensuring the well-being of children will be critical in making a positive impact on the lives of our students.
Salary: $16.00- $20.00Responsibilities
- Create a nurturing and engaging environment for children in the daycare center
- Implement developmentally appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive growth
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the daycare center
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement lesson plans
- Conduct regular assessments to evaluate the progress of each child
- Communicate effectively with parents and provide regular updates on the child's development
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working with young children preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood development and education best practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children
- Flexibility in adapting to changing schedules and needs
- CPR and First Aid certification (can be obtained upon hiring)
