Qodoro is Hiring a Senior Staff Accountant Near Mount Prospect, IL
- Responsible for daily and monthly operational accounting duties, including management of fixed assets, accruals, prepaids, and other assets.
- Apply principles of finance and accounting to various tasks.
- Assist in maintaining the business unit's internal financial processes and internal controls.
- Develop system driven reports and analyze and interpret the resulting data.
- Prepare ad hoc and recurring monthly journal entries.
- Assist in analyzing product costs, overhead absorption, abnormal fixed cost expenditures.
- Interface daily with manufacturing personnel and production planners to improve inventory controls and internal programs.
- Perform all balance sheet reconciliations accurately, explaining any variances.
- Manage fixed asset subledger and capital expenditure tracking.
- Provide back up to other team members.
- Assist with collections as needed.
- Must have a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Requires a minimum of three years of related work experience in accounting.
- Must be proficient in MS Excel and Word, ERP/MRP system.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interests, commission proportions, and percentages.
- Must have the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
