Job Title: Activity Coordinator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Activity Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and implementing engaging activities for our residents. The Activity Coordinator will play a key role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals in our community through various recreational programs and events.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a diverse range of activities to cater to the interests and needs of residents
- Coordinate social events, outings, and group activities
- Assist residents with tasks as needed
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff members
- Manage schedules and ensure timely participation in activities
- Collaborate with the team to create a supportive and inclusive environment
- Utilize principles to address individual needs and preferences
- Organize and oversee events such as holiday celebrations and themed parties
- Implement techniques to promote physical and mental well-being
- Support residents with (Activities of Daily Living) when required

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role within an or setting is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Proficiency in and coordination
- Understanding of caregiving principles and techniques
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Knowledge of recreational therapy practices is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
