Akkodis is seeking an Electrical Engineer - Hardware Power/Schematic/layout for a contract-to-hire position with a client located in Mountain View CA. We are looking for additional resources due to new projects in the pipeline. et

Pay/Salary Range: $90-$115/hour| $187,200/yr - $239,200yr

Electrical Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Design compute PCBs for automotive systems.
• Collaborate with component suppliers to select and support hardware solutions.
• Provide support for schematic and layout review, demonstrating expertise in board signal integrity and mitigating EMI and acoustics issues for power management and mixed-signal routing.
• Assist in hardware bring-up and engineering validation processes.
• Support the platform/software team with IC implementation and application.
• Validate amplifiers, Ethernet switches, Powered Device Interface Controllers with Integrated Power MOSFET, Supervisors, and Sequencers.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Possess strong communication skills, both interpersonal and in presentations.
• Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Proficient in understanding the basics of SI/PI for board design.
• Experienced with various digital interfaces including SPI, I2C, RS485, RS232, USB-PD, USB 2.0/3.0 protocols, SMBUS, and Ethernet.
• Bring over 5 years of HPC hardware development experience in embedded systems.
• Has expertise in Power Management ICs (DC-DC controllers, Linear regulators, Hot-swaps), ADCs, Precision DACs, and design of active anti-aliasing filters and mixed signals.
• Familiar with Audio technologies including Class G and Class D amplifiers, programmable gain amplifiers, ADCs, Precision DACs, and high-speed Analog Switches.
• A desire for Automotive Audio and Video expertise.
• Electrical engineers with expertise in power supply, schematic design, and layout review.
• RF experience, but not just highspeed, along with Allegro Cadence tool experience
