Physical Design Engineer:

Acceler8 Talent is seeking an accomplished Physical Design Engineer to join a well-funded AI hardware startup whose vision is to be THE compute platform for GenAI.

Responsibilities:

• Optimize the design for timing, power, and area using state-of-the-art physical design tools and methodologies.
• Define and construct critical physical structures, including clock and reset architecture, power delivery network, and interconnect topologies.
• Utilize cutting-edge physical design tools and methodologies to optimize the design for timing, power, and area.
• Collaborate closely with the verification team to ensure rigorous formal verification and Logic Equivalence Check to validate that the physical design aligns seamlessly with functional requirements.
• Work with the back-end team to ensure a smooth transition from physical design to the tape-out phase.

Requirements:

• B.S/M.S in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with 7 years' experience.
• Proven industry experience in the physical implementation of large, high-performance network switching/routing fabrics (Ethernet, Infiniband, HPC).
