Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred
- Proven experience as a Finance Director, Finance Manager, or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of financial principles, regulations, and best practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent leadership and communication abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Develop and implement financial strategies, plans, and policies
- Monitor financial performance, analyze results, and provide insights to improve business operations
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
- Oversee accounting functions, including payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Collaborate with senior management to provide financial guidance and support decision-making
- Identify and address financial risks and opportunities
- Lead and develop a high-performing finance team
- Drive process improvements and efficiencies within the finance department
