Enders Island is Hiring a Bookkeeper Near Mystic, CT
We are seeking a part-time (20 – 25 hours / week) detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team, reporting to the Staff Accountant.
The duties broadly include maintaining financial records for purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize our non-profit accounting software (Aplos) to capture all revenue sources including bank deposits, appeals, collections, on-line sales, cash donations, fund raising events and auctions.
- Process daily bank deposits.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
- Prepare and send out monthly invoices.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and assist with month-end closing procedures.
- Assist with payroll processing, and preparation of payroll journal entries.
- Prepare general ledger accounts analysis for review by management and outside auditors.
- Other duties as assigned.
