Job Description SummaryThis position will be on either 2nd or 3rd shift. 2nd shift hours are from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
3rd shift hours are from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Manufacturing Associates are responsible for operating and maintaining production equipment and/ processes. This is only done with Safety maintained as a priority and secondly to our internal and external quality and environmental standards/requirements. This is a very hands on and fast paced position.
Job DescriptionManufacturing Specialists are required to understand and/or practice the following skills for their areas:
- Safety.
- Housekeeping 7-S.
- Quality Internal External
- Understands importance of Operation
- Productivity Goals
- Proper Machine Operation.
- Standard Operating Procedures.
- Rework Instructions.
- Work Instructions.
- Preventive Maintenance Instructions.
- Inspection Instructions.
- Reaction Plans.
- Process Set-up Instructions.
- Associate Handbook.
Rotate to the appropriate operations when assigned by Module Team Leader or Crew Manager.
Facilitate Communications
- Between operations within assigned Module.
- Between Modules.
- Between crews.
Complete Operation Productivity & Pareto sheets and verify the following for accuracy:
- Total pcs. good and total pcs. scrap.
- Feedback on process and operation.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- One (1) year experience in manufacturing operations preferred
