Duties:
- Assist healthcare professionals in providing patient care and treatment
- Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
- Collect patient medical history and update electronic health records
- Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers
- Perform basic laboratory tests, such as urine analysis and blood glucose monitoring
- Prepare and sterilize medical instruments and equipment
- Assist with minor surgical procedures
- Schedule patient appointments and manage patient flow
Experience:
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and coding
- Proficiency in performing vital signs measurements accurately
- Familiarity with basic life support techniques
- Experience in providing direct patient care in a healthcare setting
- Ability to administer medications following established protocols
- Understanding of medical procedures, including X-rays and inhalation therapy
Note: Prior experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred but not required. Training will be provided to the right candidate.
