Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

Location: Nashville, TN

Duration: 6 Month contract-to-hire

Description: Our client in Nashville is looking for a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join their clinical research team and administer care to patients in their active oncology trials. They will be responsible for assisting with activities of daily living, performing blood draws, EKGs, vitals, central lines, and documenting patient information. The individual we are looking for will be highly organized, able to communicate with physicians and appropriate staff members effectively and is able to hit the ground running.

Responsibilities:

• Observes, reports, and documents patient's treatment, behavior, and progress.
• Communicate patient status to physicians and appropriate clinical trial staff.
• Ensure proper execution of physician orders, treatments, and lab tests.

Qualifications:

• Licenses to practice nursing as a licensed practical nurse in the State of Tennessee
• 2 years of experience working as an LPN. (1 year LPN, 1 year Oncology preferred)
• Exposure working in Clinical Research or Clinical Trials is preferred.
• Highly motivated and organized.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
• Is a self-starter and requires minimal supervision or guidance.
