We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Financial Coordinator to join our team at Sandstone. The Financial Coordinator will play a key role in managing financial operations, including billing, collections, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare finance and a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the billing process, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing for services rendered.
  • Manage accounts receivable, including monitoring outstanding balances and coordinating collections efforts.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, providing insights and recommendations to management.
  • Coordinate with insurance companies and other third-party payers to resolve billing issues and ensure timely reimbursement.
  • Assist with the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to healthcare finance.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
  • Address resident and family financial inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Support the facility administrator with financial planning and decision-making.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare finance or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of billing and collections processes in a healthcare setting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with financial software.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
