The Registered Pharmacy Tech II assists in preparing, packaging, delivering and charging of medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Completes

established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM EDUCATION : High School Graduate or equivalent; accredited training in sterile products preparation.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

Pharmacy experience

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE : Two years hospital experience

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSURE : IV Certification and possession of current Texas State Board of Pharmacy Technician License;

Pharmacy Technician Certification (depending on state regulations) required.
