Century Casinos is Hiring a MATERIAL HANDLER Near New Cumberland, WV
SUMMARY
Load and unload incoming and outgoing materials and products as well as moving materials to and from loading docks, delivery trucks, storage areas, and kitchens.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Unload received goods, record, unpack, inspect, report damages and discrepancies and store all materials delivered to Mountaineer according to set procedures within the Receiving Department.
- Check in, document and deliver all packages to the necessary departments in a timely and professional manner and process all corresponding paperwork.
- Perform physical inventory counts monthly and as needed.
- Make sure work areas are neat and clean every day.
- Computer/clerical duties – updating POs and Inventory Requisitions.
- Prepares and delivers all requested products using Inventory Requisitions submitted by end users.
- All other duties as assigned.
REPORTING LINE
You will report directly to the Receiving Manager then to the Director of Finance.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Must have excellent communication skills in both verbal and written, be polite, and present a neat appearance at all times.
- The ability to work with others as a team in an efficient manner.
- Ability to use all necessary tools and equipment for the task i.e. hand truck, forklift.
- The ability to work in a fast –paced environment.
- You will need to be available to work all shifts and holidays.
- Must have and maintain a clear valid driver’s license.
- You must be at least 21 years old.
- You also must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain and maintain a WV Racing License.
EDUCATIONAL AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred but not necessary. One year of warehouse experience preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
OTHER SKILLS/ABILITIES
Helpful to be Forklift certified, if not training will be provided.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
You will need to be able to stand or for prolonged periods of time. The ability to push, pull, kneel, twist, bend, carry and lift up to 45 lbs.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Will be exposed to working in a noisy, smoke/secondary smoke environment and seasonal elements.
