As a Veterinary Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the care and health needs of animals. Your role will include assisting in surgical procedures, collecting biological samples for diagnosis, providing nursing care to sick or injured animals, and communicating with the Veterinarian regarding animal health concerns. You will also be expected to conduct daily facility animal checks, dispense and document medications, maintain medical records and other legal documents, and utilize the veterinary software program. Your role will also require you to create and/or revise Standard Operation Procedures (SOP’s) and Standard of Work (SOW) instructions related to animal health, assist with inventory, and ensure the cleanliness and safety of kennel areas. You will be expected to feed and provide water to animals as scheduled, exercise/socialize animals daily, and provide routine grooming care.
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
This is a fully on-site position.
