Barista Job Summary
An Atticus Barista is responsible for preparing and serving coffee and other beverages to customers. Their duties include working with other Baristas and cashiers to help take orders, make drinks and provide timely service to customers.
At Atticus, we encourage input from our staff for R&D of seasonal beverages and specialty drinks. Baristas, like all front of house staff, are responsible for the product knowledge of all food menu items and Atticus bread and pastry.
Requirements for position
Baristas must know the proper composition and how to make all core espresso based beverages. They must be proficient in espresso machine usage as well as how to produce proper micro foam.
Must be able to follow a drink building recipe. We are aware many companies have different ideas of beverage compositions baristas at Atticus must follow our company drink building formulas to produce drinks to our standards.
