NutriTech is looking for a Registered Dietitian to join our growing team. We have an opening at a SNF in the New Lebanon area.

LTC experience is preferred but willing to train. Positive attitude, kindness, being able to work independently or with a team and of course nutrition knowledge is most important.

Pay is very competitive!

Responsibilities

Provide ongoing nutrition support to staff and residents

Complete new admission comprehensive nutrition assessments after reviewing documents and speaking with resident, family and the healthcare team. Quarterly reviews.

Implement dietary care plans

Survey assistance

Provide nutrition consultation to residents, staff and families on nutrition principles, diet modifications and any risks/concerns

Inspect kitchen and dietary service areas to ensure compliance with food code regulations

Ensure prescribed diets are followed and meet daily nutrition need requirements. This includes therapeutic and texture modifications.

Skills and Qualifications

Must have excellent communication skills and be able to work independently or with members of the healthcare team

Must have ability to effectively communicate with residents and/ or their families

Must be Registered with CDR and licensed in Ohio for dietitians.

Long Term Care Experience preferred with a comprehensive knowledge of Section K on MDS, Completing resident/ patient assessments and Care Plans

Knowledge of State and Federal Guidelines

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $33.00 - $38.00 per hour
