About This Role
Our Client is seeking a Content Coordinator, Catalog Operations to support our Newark-based US Catalog Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely ingestion and maintenance of product information (metadata) and digital assets (audio, images, table of contents) for the titles, ensuring the completeness, accuracy, and timely release of all products in the catalog.

Basic Qualifications
Delivery monitoring and asset ingestion: Monitor the third party asset delivery queue on a daily basis, vetting all asset deliveries prior to ingesting and queuing into Catalog Operations workflows. Communicate status of ingested and queued titles to Catalog Operations partners on a daily basis to ensure the timely release of all delivered content. Process and verify both daily and large-scale metadata update and correction requests received from providers, customers, and internal stakeholders via tickets or other sources, and ensure all requests are answered appropriately and in a timely manner.
Workflow confirmations and removal: Handle the title cancellation queue, notifying third party providers when titles have been removed from workflow and what corrections are needed to re-instate them into workflow. Assist with oversight of the confirmation request queue, notifying providers that titles are on hold and what corrections/confirmations are needed to reinstate them into workflow.
Provider change requests: Assess validity of and initiate product update requests received from providers and customers, and ensure that requests are answered appropriately and in a timely fashion.
Ticket queue management: Monitor incoming tickets from internal partners, taking action and properly routing as needed to ensure all queues stay within the expected Catalog Operations SLA.
Qualifications
Minimum of one year experience in editorial/publishing, preferably web-based publishing environment, ideally with proven experience in CMS databases and metadata
Fluency in Outlook, Excel, and MS Word
A confident and upbeat communicator via written and verbal business communication skills
BA/BS or equivalent degree, preferably in Humanities
Experience in stakeholder management and interactions with external partners
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated multi-tasking and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
A self-starter with impeccable organizational and analytical skills
An avid consumer of online media, including books (audio and print), blogs, podcasts, and other digital content
Familiarity with standard XML metadata exchange formats (e.g. ONIX)
Experience with systems such as JIRA, Airtable, CMS
