Billing Specialist

Job Overview:

As a key member of our mental health team, you will be responsible for handling Medicaid billing, as well as billing for other service contracts. Responsibilities:
- Utilize your expertise in medical coding to accurately assign appropriate codes for services rendered
- Manage medical collections efficiently to ensure timely payments
- Familiarity with Medicaid, ICD-9, and ICD-10 coding systems
- Collaborate with the medical office staff to resolve billing discrepancies
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Ensure compliance with regulations related to billing and coding practices

Requirements:
- Previous experience in medical billing or related field
- Proficiency in medical coding and collection processes
- Understanding of Medicaid, ICD-9, and ICD-10 coding systems
- Knowledge of Mental Health terminology and medical record systems
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in billing procedures
