Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as an Intervention Specialist at Licking Valley Local Schools. The Intervention Specialist will be responsible for implementing and monitoring individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs. The role involves providing targeted behavioral interventions, conducting assessments, collaborating with teachers and parents, and applying behavior analysis techniques to support academic and social-emotional growth.

Qualifications

• Applied Behavior Analysis and Behavioral Intervention skills
• Knowledge of psychology and understanding of behavior management
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in special education or a related field
• Ability to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field
• Special education certification or licensure is preferred
