The Training Manager is responsible for managing the coordination and facilitation of Retail and Virtual Banking sales and training program, which may include new hire orientation, in-service training, new product training, position development, cross selling of all credit union products and other programs that contribute to the success of the credit union. Develop and facilitate live classroom, virtual environment courses and programs to ensure team members are provided engaging and value-added learning solutions.
What you’ll do:
  • Facilitate team member training sessions (in-person and virtually) inclusive of new hire orientation, position and product specific training, and all supporting compliance, and procedural knowledge.
  • Observe, develop, implement, and coach Retail Delivery and Virtual Banking employee performance by clearly establishing and communicating lending products, sales, and service quality expectations.
  • Delivers new employee, sales and service technique and product and service training as assigned.
  • Stays current regarding new branch training trends and shares those with the retail leadership.
  • Train retail delivery lenders to actively cross-sell, capture and make qualified referrals for additional loan, deposit and fee income products and services.
  • Partner with Retail leadership to develop and implement relevant and proactive training curriculum for the achievement of organizational goals.
  • Manages and delivers annual product and service training to all staff members.
Qualifications/Experience Required:
  • College degree
  • 4 years of sales and service training experience.
  • Proven Sales leadership skills: ability to history
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Knowledge of various training methods such as lectures, on-line, on the job.
