The Plant Manager will oversee daily operation of the facility, including all site personnel, and operations therein. Responsibilities include but are not necessarily limited to management of site safety, environmental, productivity, quality, cost control, conversion, feedstock procurement, and inventory control and rotation. The Manager will ensure all of these aspects are optimized to create an excellent working environment, and that P&L performance is achieved. 

Responsibilities

• Oversee and improve site safety performance, while demonstrating a high degree of ownership for team member health and safety.
• Models exemplary safety behavior.
• Ensure Environmental regulations are followed in accordance with Federal and State Law.
• Delivers on Plant Quality and Productivity Targets.
• Optimizes and establishes reliability program, for asset maintenance.
• People Champion – ensures team members are communicated with, and oversees people development facets within the facility including training, progression and retention aspects.
• Creates short and long term plan to improve reliability, cost and productivity.
• Manage annual operating budget, and guide facility to necessary targets.
• Ensures feedstock and finished inventory is managed, through collaboration with onsite and offsite stakeholders.
• Monitors and Controls cost across inventory control, purchasing and other means.
• Maintain high degree of presence and goodwill within the community, and interface with external stakeholders in a means that reflects company values.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in engineering, business management, or similar related field.
• Preferably 8 or more years of manufacturing leadership experience, inclusive of leading direct line supervision, maintenance, reliability and support functions.
• High degree of proficiency in P&L management, and accountability.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, as site conditions might require.
