Turbotec Products is Hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician Near Newton, NC
Turbotec a company of Mueller Industries located in Newton, NC is actively hiring for the position of Maintenance Technician. Turbotec produces a diverse range of high-performance heat exchangers for virtually any space conditioning or refrigeration application for the geothermal, water heating, solar, heat recovery and heat pump markets. As a Maintenance Technician you will assist in many areas of the plant and production.
Maintenance Technician Responsibilities and Job Expectations:
Some of the specific duties of a Maintenance Technician will consist of the following:
- Assist with lean projects on the manufacturing floor.
- Install and inspect machinery on the manufacturing floor.
- Install and inspect electrical equipment on the manufacturing floor.
- Troubleshoot/repair machinery for top-tier production.
- Brazing/welding other metal components.
- Inspection of cosmetic defects on in-process and finished products.
- Use of common tools to perform preventative maintenance on production machinery.
- Versatilely use different forms of measurement and test equipment to ensure specification standards are met.
- Ensure that machinery is being operated correctly to ensure operation at the highest standards.
Maintenance Technician Requirements:
- HSD/GED
- Good fine motor skills, hand dexterity
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of mechanical devices and tools.
