Brunswick Animal Hosp is a small family like atmosphere. We take care of multiple species which include dogs, cats, farm animals, exotics, and we also do wildlife rehab. The person hired has to be well versed in anesthesia as that will be one of the main duties of the tech.

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our animal care team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal welfare and possess a range of veterinary skills to assist in the care and treatment of our animal patients.

**Responsibilities:**

- Perform animal catheterization for medical procedur

- Provide support to veterinarians during examinations and surgeries

- Maintain animal husbandry standards within the facility

- Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure cleanliness and prevent infections

- Monitor and provide care for animals in critical conditions

- Apply knowledge of animal anatomy in treatment procedures

- Ensure high-quality animal care at all times

**Requirements:**

- Certification as a Veterinary Technician

- Proficiency in animal care practices and veterinary procedures

- Experience in veterinary critical care is a plus

- Knowledge of laboratory procedures related to animal health

- Familiarity with dog training techniques

- Strong understanding of animal anatomy and physiology
