Structural-Builders and Restorations is seeking a Construction Controller to oversee the Accounting Department and be a part of a growing company. Prior industry experience is required and this reports directly to the President of the company. This is a great opportunity to have high visibility in the company with room for advancement.

Job Responsibilities:

 · Oversee financial operations including AP/AR, job cost accounting, payroll and cash flow management

· Develop and maintain the system of internal accounting controls and financial reporting

· Budgeting, forecasting and analysis of the company as well as on-going projects

· Work-In-Progress reporting & General Ledger

· Produce monthly financial statements

· Coordinate quarterly accounting reviews, annual audits and tax returns

· Review weekly payroll

· Review commercial insurance policy renewals and premiums

· Produce audit reports for all commercial insurance policies, as needed

· Oversee the monthly job cost report process with the Division Managers and Project Managers for use in creating and updating contract schedules and updated work in progress reports for internal and external use.

· As needed, meet with the company’s bankers and bonding company to review financial results and forecasts

· Maintain state registrations, business and tax licenses, etc.

Job Requirements:

· Experience dealing with banks and financial institutions

· Work with Senior Management and Operations Managers to ensure financial directives are followed

· Excellent written and verbal communication

· Strong knowledge of Excel required

· Degree in Accounting, Finance or similar is preferred
