We are Rycor (www.rycorhvac.com), the largest and fastest growing installer of heat pumps in the Northeast. We are seeking experienced candidates to install green energy solutions specializing in Mitsubishi ductless mini split heat pumps.

Essential Functions

Assists our master electrician in various types of work, including:

• service upgrades
• panel upgrades, installing and repairing generators,
• wiring HVAC equipment, etc.

This person would be learning from our electrician day-to-day and help them with various needs.

When there is a lack of electrical work, this person is required to work with the install team assisting with HVAC installations.

This person must be comfortable working in attics and crawlspaces and various types of locations to be able to run wires. Additionally, they will have to be able to climb up and work on a ladder and work outside in all types of weather.

Education/ Experience/License Requirements

• Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• A valid occupational license (if required).
• Ability to pass a certified test for substance abuse.
• Employment Eligibility Verification (new employee).
• Clean record of traffic violations.
• Ability to practice strong interpersonal skills.
• Adequate knowledge of electrical systems.

Other Skills and Abilities

• Adequate knowledge of cooling and heating systems.
• Knowledge of the functions of all job-related tools and devices, and the ability to skillfully use them.
• Ability to read and decipher schematic drawings.

Salary info:

$20 - $27 / hr
