We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Manager to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in preparing financials, auditing, balance sheet reconciliation, and technical accounting. This position will be responsible for managing the AP department. Managing reconciliations, prepare journal entries and cost analysis. Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the financial statement reporting process
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy
• Track inventory cost, flow, and transactions in the ERP systems
• Prepare monthly trial balance reports
• Perform general ledger accounting and reconciliation
• Maintain GL chart of accounts, fixed assets, and deprecation schedules
• Ensure compliance with GAAP regulatory requirements and standards
• Handle reconciliations for various balance sheet accounts, including cash accounts, prepaid accounts, and accruals
• Special projects and analytical assistance as required. Must have good working knowledge of Excel (VLOOKUPs, etc)
• Work with new vendors setting up accounts, and respond to inquiries
• Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
• Strong knowledge of financial manufacturing and cost accounting principles
• Experience using Sage or similar ERP system required
• General accounting experience handling A/P, A/R, reconciliations, monthly closings, and accruals is a must!
• Strong attention to detail with excellent communication skills
• Self-motivated and independent with strong work ethic
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
