This is for an independent contractor with a schedule of 5 hours a day for 1-2 days a week.

What you will be doing:
Job Overview
As a qualified healthcare provider, your role is to provide quality clinical supports and supervision within the assigned Division
Responsibilities and Duties
Direct Clinical Intervention as Assigned
Provide counseling, group and individual therapy, and other methods of behavior modification that are part of clinical practice
Provide third party (insurance-eligible) clinical services based on medical necessity
Provide technical support/assistance for difficult, time-intensive, or high risk cases
Perform psychological testing/evaluation and complete Autism Specialty reports as needed
Use semi-structured psychiatric interviews, cognitive and developmental assessments, language assessments, adaptive assessments, and ASD diagnostic tools.
Provide in-person feedback sessions and write comprehensive reports that are completed in a timely manner
Provide evidence–based psychotherapeutic treatments to children, adolescents and their families in individual, parent training, family, and group modalities
Complete clinical documentation requirements in a timely manner, including progress notes, treatment plans, and other records and forms as needed.
Coordinate with the billing department to ensure that documentation of services, scheduling, and billing codes are entered correctly for timely billing to insurance or private pay clientele.
Contribute and/or lead collaborations focused on improving care for children with developmental disabilities
Provide outreach to the professional and lay community
To be successful in this role, you should have a Master's degree in School Psychology, Social Work, or Mental Health Counseling, or Doctoral degree in Psychology. A NYS Permanent Certification, Current NYS License and/or Limited Permit to practice is required. You motivate and influence others. You are an excellent listener and problem solver who writes well. You can impart information clearly and succinctly. You have some fluency using technology. You’ll also need to be fingerprinted as required by NYSED.
