Ideal Dentistry of Norton Shores is seeking a skilled and dedicated dental assistant to join our growing dental practice! As a dental assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality oral healthcare services to our patients. Your exceptional chairside assistance, organization, and compassion will contribute to our practice's success and enhance the overall patient experience. Responsibilities:

• Prepare treatment rooms and equipment, maintaining cleanliness and sterilization protocols
• Provide chairside assistance, passing instruments, suctioning, and anticipating the dentist's needs
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) and accurately record patient information
• Perform infection control procedures, adhere to safety protocols, and maintain OSHA compliance
• Assist with supply management and ordering
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure optimal patient care and workflow efficiency
• Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor, creating a welcoming atmosphere for patients

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a dental assistant is an advantage
• CDA/RDA preferred, but not required
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
• Compassionate and empathetic towards patients' needs and concerns
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
