Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Leader to join our team. As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a team of employees during assigned shifts
- Ensure smooth operation of the restaurant, including opening and closing procedures
- Monitor food production to maintain quality standards and minimize waste
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any concerns or issues promptly
- Train new employees on company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with ordering supplies as needed
- Collaborate with management to develop strategies for improving efficiency and profitability
- Assist with interviewing and hiring new team members
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a leadership role in the food industry is preferred
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food production, and inventory control
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage a team and delegate tasks
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive dining experience
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to handle difficult situations calmly
- Knowledge of banquet operations is a plus
- Culinary background or training is an asset
