Company Description: Orthofeet is a dynamic and innovative Orthopedic footwear company. We are seeking a highly skilled IT Administrator to join our team and help us maintain our IT infrastructure.

Job Description: As an IT Administrator at Orthofeet, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and infrastructure. You will play a crucial role in maintaining network stability, managing hardware resources, and providing technical support to our employees. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in networking, experience with Google Workspace and ERP systems, proficiency in hardware management, familiarity with ticketing systems, and knowledge of SQL databases.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain our networking infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
  • Administer Google Workspace services, including Gmail, Google Drive, and Google Meet.
  • Provide support for our Priority ERP system, ensuring its smooth operation and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
  • Manage hardware resources such as servers, desktops, laptops, and mobile devices, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Monitor and manage our ticketing system, responding to user requests and incidents in a timely manner.
  • Maintain and optimize our SQL databases, including database administration, performance tuning, and backup/recovery procedures.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members and departments to implement new technologies and systems as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our IT infrastructure and processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience as an IT Administrator or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of networking principles and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, etc.).
  • Experience with Google Workspace administration and services.
  • Familiarity with ERP system, preferably Priority Software ERP.
  • Proficiency in hardware management, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA) and ITIL practices.
  • Solid understanding of SQL databases and experience with database administration tasks.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
