Position Overview

The Groundsman performs all kinds of jobs, with assigned equipment and people, safely and efficiently. The Groundsman provides service delivery with flawless service quality and no Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) incidents in accordance with policies, standards, and procedures. The position reports to the Production Supervisor.

Successful Groundman are adaptable, show initiative, and have good written and verbal communication skills. They work well in teams and are curious and willing to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow a consistent and regular schedule to perform various types of maintenance and repair on all crushing facilities
• Perform production/operation and maintenance using tools, machine tools and measuring instruments
• Diagnose and troubleshoot systems and structures
• Recondition and repair components
• Operate and test all components
• Diagnoses problem areas for any significant wear and tear
• Produce detailed reports and repair logs
• Follow all established procedures and protocols to produce material to spec and at the desire production rate
• Build positive relationships with internal and external teams
• Perform additional duties as assigned
