ELSSA is Hiring a Daycare Teacher Near Oakland, FL
This is a full-time position that works 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday with the pay being $13 -16 per hour based on experience and qualifications. This is an onsite position at our center located: 304 E Oakland Ave, Oakland FL, 34760.
The Preschool Teacher plans and implements curriculum for the ages of 2 -3 years old, serves as a model and mentor, and coordinates engaging developmental activities for children. You’ll have the opportunity to build a dynamic classroom environment, create fun-filled learning activities, and support the growth and success of children.
What You’ll Do:
• Coordinate and implement educational curriculum by developing classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards
• Lead by example and encourage teaching team success through modeling and coaching
• Plan individual and group age-appropriate activities to engage children and encourage social, cognitive, and emotional growth
• Follow all policies and state regulations
• Maintain a personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement
What We Need from You:
• High School Diploma and/or degree in Early Childhood Education or related field of study
• Be patient and engaged with children
• Experience with children who have mild to moderate special needs
• Willingness train and complete professional development
• Minimum of 30 Credits in ECE, 45 DCF hours, and CDA preferred
• Must clear a full background check
• At least 1 year of professional early childhood training/experience and 1 year of childcare experience preferred
• CPR Certification and Child Development Associate Certification preferred
