We are looking for a SQL DBA with the following skills:
Job Description:
- Manage all aspects of the SQL Server hardware platform including server, storage cell and database configuration and administration.
- Responsible for managing the lifecycle of the SQL Server database platform across DEV, UAT and Production.
- Analysis and enhancements using high availability, performance and scalability techniques
- Analysis and performance tuning of databases and SQL queries.
- Work with application teams to test and ensure that applications are configured to be SQL Server compliant and support database failover configurations.
- Provide input to and follow standards and best practices as defined by the vendor and other SEI teams
- Work with team members to provide production support
- Develop scripts/utilities to automate repetitive tasks, i.e. backups, refreshes
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related technical field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience as a SQL Server DBA or similar role.
- Experience with SQL Server 2008, 2012, 2016, and 2019 or newer
- Strong track record supporting large and complex application delivery and development teams
