Milwaukee and Waukesha Counties

Starting at $15 / hr.

$300 Signing Bonus

Receive $100 after you work 100 hours with us, and $200 after 500 hours

We will provide you the hands-on training needed before you even begin!

We have the experience, support, and resources you need to be successful

If you have open availability and are able to work in both Waukesha and Milwaukee counties, we can consistently get you 40 hours or more per week

To ensure you can consistently get the hours you need, you must have experience in personal care services or be willing to learn all aspects of care (we provide training)

CNAs, lapsed CNAs, personal care workers, caregivers, and those with experience caring for a loved one are all encouraged to apply

As a CAREGiver with Home Instead, you will provide :

  • Companionship and conversation
  • Stabilization and assistance with walking
  • Meals and clean up meal-related items
  • Medication and appointment reminders
  • Light housekeeping tasks (dusting, vacuuming, making beds, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, etc.)
  • Washing and ironing laundry
  • Errands
  • Accompanying clients to appointments
  • Bathing assistance
  • Grooming assistance
  • Toileting and incontinence care assistance
  • Alzheimer's / Dementia Care

Essential Job Requirements :

  • Ability to speak and hear English clearly in person and on the telephone
  • Ability to read and write English
  • Ability to lift, push or pull 25 pounds
  • Ability to bend, twist, stoop, kneel and reach

  • Complete a criminal background check, DMV check, pre-employment drug screen
  • Possess a valid driver's license and valid auto insurance
  • Ability to withstand exposure to dust, mold, mildew and cleaning solutions
  • Ability to treat and care for clients and their property with dignity and respect
  • Ability to adapt to various living environments and locations
  • Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
