Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Service is Hiring an Instructional Design Manager Near Oklahoma, OK
- Effectively manage and ensure delivery of services of the TI Instructional Design team
- Provide project management oversight to in-house and contracted projects
- Collaborate with agency program areas to develop, implement, and manage eLearning initiatives
- Maintain an inventory of eLearnings for the Training Institute
- Oversee regular maintenance of LMS for eLearnings
- Implement regular data collection and prepare customized reports
- Serve as a functional instructional designer, creating and updating trainings and resolving issues as needed
- Lead efforts related to continuous improvement and documentation of processes and procedures for instructional design team
- Perform other duties as assigned

- This position is hybrid and subject to ODMHSAS policy and supervisor discretion
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, or related field and one year of experience in education or training plus two additional year of qualifying experience in software applications used for rapid development of training materials and online courses;or an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one year of qualifying experience for each year of the bachelor’s degree and one year of experience in education or training plus two additional year of qualifying experience in software applications used for rapid development of training materials and online courses; or a master's degree in adult education or human resource development plus two additional year of qualifying experience in software applications used for rapid development of training materials and online courses.
- Project management experience
- Experience with curriculum design**
- Proficiency with course authoring tools, especially the Articulate 360 Suite **
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Premiere **
- Knowledge of SCORM and AICC standards **
- Applicants must be willing and able to fulfill any job-related travel normally associated with this position and as such have a valid driver’s license
