As a Procurement Buyer, you will manage your assigned supplierportfolio for the R&O team supporting different electrical sites. You willbe responsible to expedite multiple repair orders ensuring parts are shippedon-time to our customers. You will have the opportunity to implement leadtime/backlog reduction and OTTR improvement projects to support therequirements of our different plants. You will work as a liaison between Suppliers,OP team, R&O ISC Operations, Customer Support Management, and Engineeringto build and maintain a strong relationship between vendors and sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Vendor management
- Implement lead time reduction opportunities in the R&O process.
- Drive OTTR improvement projects.
- Design strategies for Backlog and TAT reduction.
- Build and maintain a strong relationship with our vendors, site, and customer/business team.
- Expedite orders for different R&O Electrical sites and remove/work any barriers that may arise in the process.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Procurement Experience >1 years
- SAP Experience
- Intermediate Excel Skills (Pivot Tables/Vlookups/If Formulas)
- Negotiation, problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Continuous Improvement Mindset
- Organized and team player.
