Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent which includes having the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
• The ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Previous Work Experience:
• Any previous quality control experience is welcome.
• This position requires on-the-job training.

Physical Requirements:

• Very light physical requirements.
• Excellent finger dexterity.

Mental or Visual Demand:

• Ability to sit for long periods of time.
• Ability to see and feel very small defects.
• Ability to work with and assemble very small tubing.
• Must be highly organized due to the multitude of process steps and materials used.

Essential Functions:

• Inspect, trim and assemble custom-made product to customer specifications.
• Operate various types of equipment (glue machine, sciver, fuse down, other heat elements, etc.) for assembly.
• Keep track and document all materials and lot numbers used to assemble product. and document on assembly lot forms or LHR forms if applicable.
• Use a variety of magnification equipment and gages to ensure product meets specification.

Other Expectations:

• Good judgment is required.
• Ability to work well with others and communicate effectively.

Demonstrated Competencies (Operator may be trained to one or all dependent on need and prior to moving to another job):

• Identification of raw materials and MicroLumen part numbers
• Apply line clearance properly
• Ability to accurately inspect, trim and package material within time constraints
• Work with heat operating machine
• Measuring OD with laser micrometer
• Understanding of ERP/GSS

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 per hour
