Position SummaryThe Analytics Manager is responsible for leading the data analytics team in transforming complex data into actionable insights that drive strategic business decisions. This role involves overseeing the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data from various sources, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the information. The Analytics Manager will identify key business opportunities, optimize processes, and support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

  • Manage and mentor a team, providing guidance on best practices, analytical techniques, and professional development.
  • Develop and implement company data analytics strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Oversee the collection, storage, and management of data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and security.
  • Lead the analysis of large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business improvement.
  • Develop and present clear, concise reports and dashboards that convey complex data in an understandable and actionable manner to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments to understand data needs and deliver insights that drive decision-making and operational efficiency.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the success of analytics initiatives and impact on business outcomes.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve data processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of analytic functions.
  • Communicate findings, insights, and recommendations to key stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Ensure that all analytics activities comply with relevant data protection regulations and internal governance policies.
  • Demonstrate regular attendance and timeliness in reporting to work, meetings, and completing assignments.
  • Ability to work and interact well with others.
Other Job Functions
  • Develop and deliver training to drive adoption of technology tools and processes.
  • Develop process maps.
  • Change leader and provide change management communications.
Job QualificationsEducation: Bachelor degree in engineering, data analytics, economics, mathematics, business, computer science, management information systems, or another related field is required. A Master degree is desirable.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience concentrated in information or business systems, processes and analytics, or another directly related discipline. Including a minimum of 5 years within data spanning modeling, integration, ETL, visualization, analytics, reporting and/or self-service; a minimum of 3 years managing a data warehouse and analytical tools; a minimum of 3 years of people leadership experience.
Required Skills
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools, data visualization software, and data management systems.
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing analytics team.
  • Strong understanding of processes and ability to translate insights into strategic proposals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Oracle and Workday.
  • Familiarity with machine learning, predictive modeling, and other advanced analytics techniques.
  • Knowledge of data governance, privacy practices, and other relevant regulations.
