Kelly is Hiring a Laboratory Tech Near Omaha, NE
Responsibilities
- Perform analysis of various samples for pathogens, chemistries, and organisms
- Review analysis results and notify management of deviations
- Utilize aseptic and microbiological techniques
- Perform preventive maintenance and equipment quality control
- Participate in various quality tasks including taking incubator temperatures, running media controls, etc.
- Follow processes per company policies and customer requirements
- Monitor and report inventory
- Prioritize safety in all activities
- AS or BS degree in Life Science or related field with 2 years lab experience is preferred
- HS Diploma and 2 years of industry lab experience will also be considered
- Knowledge of aseptic sampling, automated lab equipment, and relevant guidelines is preferred
- Familiarity with GLP, OSHA, FDA, BAM, APHA, ISO, and USP methods would be a plus
Training Schedule: Monday-Friday 9:00am-6:00pm
Job Type: Contract to Hire
Pay Rate: $20/hour
