Essential Job Duties:
Travel to and from job location.
Follow safety standards while working.
Assist with various construction tasks as directed by the supervisor.
Prepare work site to locate utilities and eliminate possible hazards.
Assist in the placing of underground material.
Assist with moving equipment & material.
Load, unload, and transport construction materials and tools.
Backfill holes & trenches with stone & dirt.
Restore grass areas upon completion of work.
Operate power tools safely and effectively.
Use hand tools for various construction tasks.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Valid Driver's License
Class A CDL preferred
Must be willing to travel
Must be able to bend/kneel/stand/walk for long periods of time.
Must be able to lift/push/pull 100 pounds regularly.
Must have a strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
Experience installing fiber optic or power preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.91 - $44.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
