Job Overview:

Certus is actively recruiting for a Business Intelligence Manager to lead and support the Intel & Automation team. The BI Manager is responsible for ensuring all Analysts are working in concert to collect, clean, transform, and deliver business and marketing data from 100s of sources on and offline. This role will report directly to the Sr. Director of Business Intelligence & CRM and will assist in researching strategic technology decisions, optimizing team workflows, and providing data analytics support when needed to analysts, and data modelers. This position will touch multiple data source to support eCommerce and lead generation optimizations. This is a newly created position based on our business growth.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluating implemented data systems for variances, discrepancies, and efficiencies
• Coaching and developing a talented team of Sr. Analysts and Analysts
• Analyzing and translating business needs into long-term solution data models.
• Champion cross-competency best practices for data coding to ensure consistency within the system.
• Reviewing modifications of existing data tables for cross-compatibility.
• Developing and executing data strategies and developing physical data models used for business health monitoring and targeted customer outreach
• Updating and optimizing metadata models.
• Troubleshooting and optimizing data systems.
• Working with analysts, automators, and developers to create conceptual data models and data flows.

Competencies Required:

• Demonstrated success leading a team that is leveraging data and technology to drive eCommerce performance
• Deep experience with Domo and preferably being part of a migration to Domo
• Success working in an AGILE environment with sprint cycles
• Proven track record of analytical problem solving that helped their organization improve marketing and/or eCommerce KPIs
• Exceptional team building, management, and people development history preferably in a distributed/remote environment
• Experience with, and robust knowledge of, the following technologies:
• SQL, Python, R Script, or other analytical/statistical languages
• Cloud database, ETL, and automation tools
• Google Analytics, Google Ads, Bing Ads, Facebook Business
• Looker Studio, PowerBI, Tableau and other BI reporting tools
• Excel, Google Sheets, Power Query, and other MS Suite applications
• PowerPoint, Google Presentation, Vizio, and other visual communication tools
• Thrives in a fast-paced atmosphere of change and can work through ambiguity that environment can create
• Patience to work through troubleshooting of dashboards and platforms with colleagues and direct reports
• Proactive problem solver

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of working on a computer
• Occasional domestic travel, likely 1-3 trips per year

• Create accurate and actionable data is readily available to end users
• Expand the utilization of data and business intelligence reports to drive more relevant/impactful consumer touchpoints
• Retain and grow talent within the team to accelerate positive impact on business
