Auvil Fruit Company, a premium grower and producer of Washington apples and cherries under the highly regarded Gee Whiz brand, is looking for a motivated Sales Representative to join our team at our Orondo, Washington headquarters. This position reports to the Director of Sales and Marketing and executes a high degree of communication and coordination with various stakeholders in and out of the organization. The ideal candidate has previous fresh produce sales experience, is results-driven, and has a solid work ethic.

Experience

• Lead sales experience, min. 3 years
• Experience selling Northwest apples and cherries preferred
• Customer portfolio, preferably with retail and foodservice accounts
• Extensive knowledge of varieties, grades, sizing and packaging
• Capable of profiling customers and generating leads
• Seasoned traveler preferred

Technical Aptitude

• Experience with analytical and inventory tracking software
• AS400, Tableau experience strongly preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Highly developed skills in problem solving and customer service
• Bilingual a plus but not required
• Adept at using MS Office apps (Word, Outlook, Excel)

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development of retail business accounts
• Help company meet its sales and profitability objectives
• Oversee sourcing efforts
• Coordinate between various internal and external stakeholders regarding inbound and outbound product shipments
• Communicate accurate and timely information to sales team
• Coordinate with staff on packing needs, daily orders, priorities, etc.
• Anticipate business trends, stay on top of markets, use available information to make better informed business decisions
