Position: QA Technician.
Thursday 12PM-6PM, Friday thru Sunday 6am-6pm
Summary/ Objective: The main role of the QA Technician is to ensure the quality and safety of our product by measuring and monitoring our trays and raw materials.
Essential Functions
· Maintain a clean and sanitized work area.
· Weigh and document tray weights on all production lines using a scale.
· Verify scale for accuracy at beginning of shift.
· Measure and document mil thickness on PET using a micrometer.
· Observe and monitor GMP’s of all employees on the production floor.
· Input roll information into the database.
· Place non-conforming products on hold.
· Observe and report any safety or food safety concerns to the supervisor on shift.
· Educate employees on proper GMP and Safety Practices when necessary.

Work Environment
The performance of this position takes place in a manufacturing area which require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, hair and beard nets, and mandatory hearing protection. The noise level of the work environment and the job site can be loud.
Physical Demands
Walks, sits, stands, bends, twists, lifts, and moves continuously during working hours; is subject to lifting over 30 pounds; is subject to repetitive motions.
Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position; the hours will vary based on your scheduled shift; minimum 40-hours per week.
Additional or modified duties will occur as business needs change.
