Kapco Inc. is looking for a Quality Technician I on 1st shift at our Osceola, WI facility. The ideal candidate for this position would be able to do the following:
Understands manufacturing equipment and processes: Evaluates parts and processes and reports non-conformances, maintains the QMS system for control of Non-conforming materials and Corrective and Preventive Actions, calibrates measurement and test equipment and fixtures.
Interprets blueprints: Control plans, engineering specifications and maintains records.
Trains others in Quality as needed.
Corresponds as needed regarding vendor and customer issues.
Participates in Advanced Product Quality Planning and assembles Product Part Approval Process documentation for new product submissions.
Investigates and documents 8D formatted corrective actions.
Completes inspections reports and bubble drawings.
Updates control plans as necessary, performs internal audits as assigned, and stops production when quality issues are detected.
