Contracts Manager (Government Contracts)

Position Summary
Thales is looking for a Contracts Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting Legal Contract Managers to ensure compliance with all legal and contractual requirements of the programs, contracts, and business activities of the business unit. Your duties will include communicating with internal and external customers and suppliers, collaborating with teams of employees, managing concurrent projects, handling expectations, adhering to policies and guidelines.

Must be a U.S. Person as defined in applicable law, or otherwise authorized or eligible for authorization, to access to hardware, software, technology or technical data controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
Key Areas of Responsibility
Provide general support to the Legal & Contract Team
Responsible for completing initial 3rd Party Integrity Assessments/Visual Compliance requirements, complete customer templates for supplier verification, complete initial draft of Non-Disclosure Agreements
Assist in monitoring subcontractors or ad hoc suppliers performing active program scope, coordinating efforts with Bid & Proposal team and Program Managers for award data, approval routing, and sales order entry needs
Assist in maintaining adherence to U.S. Government requirements concerning the Government Property Management System, U.S. Small Business Subcontract Utilization reports and internal auditing of processes and procedures.
Review and approve non-Fed U.S. opportunities meeting Thales standard T&C requirements and managing the contract deliverables under the performance obligations.
Gain familiarity with U.S. Government reporting requirements and systems; PIEE, SPRS, WAWF, EDA, DLA, eTOOLS, SAM.gov, GSA, CPARS, eSRS, etc.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Journalism, Technology or related field of study.
1 - 5 years of relevant work experience working with government contracts
Skilled in basic MS Office (or equivalent) tools
Capacity to work in an international and multicultural environment
Ability to navigate U.S. Government and internal computer and software applications
Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust-Suitability Certification (FAA) and Medium Level Security (DOD) requirements throughout employment

Special Position Requirements
Experience in Procurement, Contracts, or Legal disciplines, or other relevant training.
Ability to obtain and maintain Secret Level Security Clearance throughout employment
